The Rustic at Lake Wenatchee has been completely remodeled to provide a peaceful, quiet, and serene vacation spot that’s a mile or less from Lake Wenatchee. Relax in the new high-end hot tub, large enough for everyone. BBQ on the outside grill or unwind by the firepit. Nature abounds at The Rustic, with more than an acre to explore, including a lovely stream that flows through the property.
The property features two distinct living areas (upstairs and downstairs), each with their own kitchens, making this beautiful cabin the perfect destination for families or groups of friends. Upstairs features a full kitchen; a large living room with a sleepable couch, a 70-inch flatscreen TV, and a wood-burning stove; bathroom; and bedroom. The downstairs, which has complete privacy from the upstairs, (It was at one time its own separate apartment), features a bedroom and two separate additional sleeping spaces, bathroom, kitchen dining counter, and living room.
Planning a special event? The Rustic at Lake Wenatchee features an outdoor platform that can be used for small weddings or other events.
In addition, the property has washer and dryer as well as free Wi-Fi. The kitchens have all major appliances both upstairs and downstairs, with the exception of only one dishwasher upstairs.
The recent renovation of The Rustic at Lake Wenatchee enabled us to create two separate bedrooms, plus a loft sleeping area, which allows a party of 8 to all have separate sleeping spaces. Two additional vacationers can use the large, comfortable couch in the upstairs living room.
Whispering Pines is a secluded neighborhood made up of full-time residents, vacation rentals, weekend cabins and so forth. The area features a beautiful lake (3 minutes down the hill by car), a semi-private beach (please ask for directions), excellent hiking in the area, tons of outdoor activities, and just minutes to the Lake Wenatchee State Beach Park as well as the Brown Family Homestead where many weddings are held.
Fairly Private due to being in the middle of a one acre piece of property, surrounded by large trees, other homes are well off in the distance and through the forest which gives the cabin a feeling of seclusion. Most neighbors are in the distance or are separated by significant woods. The property features a good deal of driveway space with some roadside parking as well (as long as you park up there courteously and completely off the road. Our space is perfect to get away and truly relax but also be entertained.
Owner Kelly Kortman purchased The Rustic at Lake Wenatchee in 2017 and is thrilled with the renovations that have made it absolutely breathtaking. Plus, the location—just a few blocks from Lake Wenatchee—couldn’t be more idyllic. “Lake Wenatchee is one of the most beautiful lakes I’ve ever seen,” Kelly says. “And it’s alleged the water in the lake is completely replaced over the course of a week or so due to the massive flow of water into and out of the lake via The Wenatchee River.”
The Rustic at Lake Wenatchee is just about 4 miles away from another of Kelly’s properties, The LakeView at Cedar Brae. “If you have a large party and wish to rent both places to be close to each other, don’t hesitate to contact me,” he says. “We may be able to give you a break on the pricing if you book both at once.”

Rates
We offer standard and seasonal rates for The Rustic at Lake Wenatchee. Rates are based on two guests; each additional guest is $10 per night. Our fee for bringing your pet is $75 per pet (subject to change), and our cleaning fee is $175. We hold a $500 security deposit on your card. This is refundable if all is as well when you check out. Cancellation Policy
We thank you for your consideration in doing what you can to keep your reservation. Leavenworth, Washington, is a popular vacation destination and our rental properties are in-demand at critical times of the year, so rebooking rentals can be challenging for you — and for us. Therefore, we ask that before you book your vacation rental with us, you are confident that you will be able to keep your reservation.
Cancellations received nine months prior to booking will receive a full refund; and a $150 cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations received three to nine months before the vacation stay will receive a one-year credit to use the funds; and a $300 cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations made within three months of the reservation will not receive a refund, and a $300 cancellation fee will be charged.
