The LakeView at Cedar Brae is a beautiful cabin located just across the street from Lake Wenatchee. Featuring a wraparound deck to relax, BBQ and dine, or just relax in to the evening. the cabin has a water view that is simply stunning. Other amenities include a new hot tub, outdoor fire pit when fires are still allowed (usually ends around July 1 and picks back up again around October 1st.) and seating area, gas barbecue on the deck, foosball table, pot belly gas stove, and flat-screen TV with ROKU and DVD player.
A recent renovation includes additional living space, brand new furniture, freshly painted walls, and all new bedding. Plus, The LakeView at Cedar Brae provides central air conditioning, washer and dryer, and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, including refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, and most cooking utensils. The dining room seats 6 around the table with room for another 4 at the counter just adjacent.
The LakeView at Cedar Brae is open in the winter and will be plowed regularly during snowy times; however, occasions might arise where vacationers will need to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk about 30 yards up to the house, we highly recommend guests bring four wheel drive vehicles and chains, we also highly recommend guests purchase strap on ice cleats for their boots or shoes, we also have a small sled wagon for bringing up small kids or suitcases, we highly recommend you pack a backpack instead of a suitcase, just in case!
A new addition to the property are three downstairs bedrooms. One has a queen bed and features French doors to a patio with breathtaking water views. The second room features two twin-sized bunk beds. And the third bedroom, once more of a bonus room, has been renovated to provide a multi-function room with queen bed, foosball table, and a twin daybed that serves as the room’s couch during the day but easily converts to a twin bed for sleeping. upstairs are two bedrooms, both featuring King beds.
The property is close to all of the outdoor activities the area has to offer, including public and private beaches (mere minutes), Kahler Glen Golf & Ski Resort (5 minutes, offering cross-country skiing), the quaint town of Plain (10 minutes), the Bavarian-styled village of Leavenworth (20–25 minutes), and Steven’s Pass (30 minutes in good driving conditions).
We also can provide directions to a private beach that you may use at your disposal and is a great place to bring dogs, or direct you to the perfect swimming spot. And with the lovely Lake Wenatchee a stone’s throw away, you’ll have access to fishing, boating, kayaking, cross-country skiing—whatever your heart desires.
Owner Kelly Kortman purchased The LakeView at Cedar Brae in 2017 and couldn’t be happier with this idyllic property. “It’s simply stunning!” Kelly says. “The view is amazing, I love the Lake Wenatchee area, and I am excited to have an option on the lake for families to enjoy.”
Although the cabin is outfitted with Xbox, Wi-Fi, and a DVD player, Kelly has a different hope for your vacation, turn off the television and the phones if you can and try to get out into nature, definitely check out the “hidden lake hike” enjoy our board games and card games and be sure to bring your own deck of cards then sit at a table and get reacquainted with one another!

Rates
We have standard and seasonal rates for The LakeView at Cedar Brae. Rates are based on two guests; each additional guest is $10 per night. Our fee for bringing your pet is $75 per pet, up to two dogs, dogs must be housetrained and over the age of 2. Our cleaning fee is $175. We hold a $500 security deposit on your card. This is refundable if all is well when you check out.

Cancellation Policy
We thank you for your consideration in doing what you can to keep your reservation. Leavenworth, Washington, is a popular vacation destination and our rental properties are in-demand at critical times of the year, so rebooking rentals can be challenging for you — and for us. Therefore, we ask that before you book your vacation rental with us, you are confident that you will be able to keep your reservation.
Cancellations received nine months prior to booking will receive a full refund; and a $150 cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations received three to nine months before the vacation stay will receive a one-year credit to use the funds; and a $300 cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations made within three months of the reservation will not receive a refund, and a $300 cancellation fee will be charged.
