Rustic warmth with modern flair, The Cabin at Eagle Creek offers 1,800 square feet of living space perched on nine private acres of natural beauty. Thanks to a 2013 renovation, the charming interior décor is accented by blue pine trim and hardwood floors. Plus, the home is well equipped with top-of-the-line furnishings and state-of-the-art electronics, including Flat Screen ROKU TV’s and iPod-compatible CD player.
Other amenities include central air conditioning, washer and dryer, free wi-fi, hair dryers in bathrooms, and off-street parking. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, including refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, and most cooking utensils. The dining room seats eight around the table.
While you’re here, enjoy a show on any of the three flat-screen TVs with direct satellite access. Pull up a chair next to the wood-burning cobblestone fireplace, take a soothing dip in the hot tub, or throw something delicious onto the large outdoor grill. Regardless of how you spend your time—perhaps star gazing from the fire pit?—you’ll do so in luxurious comfort.
With two bedrooms and a loft space, the house sleeps eight guests comfortably. The master bedroom is downstairs with a king-sized bed and attached bathroom. Upstairs in the loft space are a queen-sized bed and double bed.
The Cabin at Eagle Rock sits on nine mountainous acres, and the road is convenient yet peacefully absent of cars. For the daring and fit, a steep hiking scramble is behind the house. The hike, which takes about two hours round trip, leads to one of the higher points in the area. In fact, Steven’s Pass is visible from the top. This hike is not for the inexperienced, so please climb at your own risk!
Although we do not own the field in front of the cabin, it’s a beautiful view that enables privacy and quiet at The Cabin at Eagle Creek. Because the house sits up on the side of a hill, the views are truly fantastic. This stunning placement also means that the driveway is a bit steep, and about 15–20 stairs lead from the driveway to the front door. The driveway is paved and well maintained, and in the winter, it’s plowed after 3–4 inches of snow and then on the regular plow route after that. Please drive carefully—we suggest turning around at the top to drive down slowly and carefully.
Owner Kelly Kortman purchased The Cabin at Eagle Creek in 2007 and went about thoughtfully and beautifully remodeling it. “I didn’t leave a stone unturned,” he says. “I really enjoyed the process, and I love my cabin. The décor, attention to detail, and general feel of the place keeps guests happy and coming back. We took care of everything so that you don’t have to.”
Kelly adds that nature abounds in this idyllic location. “The seasons arrive in all their glory,” he says. “The mountains and sky are pretty much all you see as you relax in the soft couch in the living room, watching the game on the flat screen TV as the smell of dinner wafts in from the grill outside. Walk to the winery, bike to the horse stables, hike up our very own personal mountain! It’s all here at The Cabin at Eagle Creek.”

Renovations
We have updated the grounds and exterior / interior of the Cabin throughout the years. It’s an on-going process. We continue to improve every aspect of this property. Just this year we included a deck extension. Check out our before and after’s shots here.
