The Chalet at Icicle Creek is a beautiful, rustic Chalet style private resort –style home situated a mere mile from the heart of downtown Leavenworth. Features include a new swimming pool, new hot tub, new sand volleyball court, basketball hoop in the driveway, outdoor fire pit in the backyard, patio with grill and dining area, three fireplaces, patio swing, and spectacular views.
Furnished to perfection, The Chalet at Icicle Creek is able to accommodate medium to larger parties of up to 10. The property is two homes separated by a breezeway. The main side features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and dining room. And The “guest side” features two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a queen, double and twin bed (great for kids!), 1.5 bathrooms plus dining, living room with fireplace and kitchen.
Other amenities include washer and dryer, and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, including refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, and most cooking utensils. The main house dining room table seats 10 comfortably.
Guests won’t be disappointed for entertainment, as The Chalet at Icicle Creek includes a DVD player, cable television, stereo system, and more. Plus, the Icicle Creek trailhead—a favorite hiking trail in the area—is across the street. In the summer, enjoy basketball on the driveway, a dip in the new swimming pool, or a match of volleyball in the sand court. And year round, relax under the stars in the luxurious hot tub.
The Chalet at Icicle Creek features a total of four bedrooms. The main side features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is a loft bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom downstairs features a queen side bed. This room was the piano room/office/library before I purchased it, however we did add a bed so that we could allow for slightly larger parties this room has a door that leads you to the other side of the house, that said, if there is someone sleeping in that room, walking outside and then in again takes less than 10 seconds, (I’ve timed it!) (Guests also can access the guest house by walking out the front door and into the breezeway door, about 20 steps.) Typically, this bedroom is the last one used and is usually the space used by the earliest riser.
The “guest side” features two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a queen, double and twin bed (great for kids!), 1.5 bathrooms plus dining, living room with fireplace and kitchen. One bedroom features a queen bed with a double/twin bunk bed. The final bedroom, which was once a B&B, has a king-sized bed, faux fireplace, kitchenette, and private bathroom with jetted tub. This bedroom is quite plush and very private.
Owner Kelly Kortman purchased this property in 2014 and has since invested more than $150,000 into renovating The Chalet at Icicle Creek, making it one of the most popular vacation rentals in Leavenworth.
“This property is extremely charming and in an excellent central location,” Kelly says. “Many charming touches throughout the property make it unique and special. Plus the guest house side makes this a great properties for two families or two generations to to come and stay any time of the year.”
Kelly adds that The Chalet at Icicle Creek is close to the hiking trails and water activities of the Icicle Creek and Sleeping Lady areas. “It’s a beautiful spot to merely lounge around, and it’s walking distance to swimming and tube launching in the river nearby,” he says. “It must be experienced to truly understand how nice this place is.”
Our goal is to provide a property that is clean, attractive, rustic and kindly lived in. We are constantly upgrading and cleaning our furnishings. We host a lot of people. We are confident in what we are bringing to the table at the price we are offering it.

Rates
We have standard and seasonal rates for The Chalet at Icicle Creek. Rates are based on two guests; each additional guest is $10 per night. Our fee for bringing your pet is $75 per pet, up to two dogs, dogs must be housetrained and over the age of 2. Our cleaning fee is $275, all inclusive (house, pool, hot tub, plowing, etc.)

Cancellation Policy
We thank you for your consideration in doing what you can to keep your reservation. Leavenworth, Washington, is a popular vacation destination and our rental properties are in-demand at critical times of the year, so rebooking rentals can be challenging for you — and for us. Therefore, we ask that before you book your vacation rental with us, you are confident that you will be able to keep your reservation.
Cancellations received nine months prior to booking will receive a full refund; and a $150 cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations received three to nine months before the vacation stay will receive a one-year credit to use the funds; and a $300 cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations made within three months of the reservation will not receive a refund, and a $300 cancellation fee will be charged.
