The LakeView Renovations Before and After
The LakeView at Cedar Brae was purchased in 2017. This property had great bones and it didn’t require as much as the others but we still went in day 1 and did our thing. We painted the property inside and out, we added new pergo hardwood flooring, bought all new furniture, new carpeting and turned the garage into a front bedroom with a queen bed and a back bedroom with two bunkbeds that had previously been in a different room. We built in two build in beds and we remodeled the lower bathroom so that the washer and dryer and storage were now in their own seperate room. We cleaned up and leveled and regraveled the driveway, poured a patio and added a hot tub. The renovations of this property have continued with new appliances, a new grill, a new lower parking area and as we speak we are building a staircase from the lower parking area to the upper home so that people no longer have to park below and walk up the slippery driveway in the winter time.
The LakeView at Cedar Brae was purchased for $435,000 in 2017, we’ve invested over $150,000 into it and it just recently appraised for almost $875,000. The one thing we didn’t have to fix with this property was the view, the view is and always has been amazing.
